Baby Room

In the babyroom we know you are the experts on your child, we will work closely with parents during our settling sessions to ensure your baby has the best start at Bibury. We will follow your routines around, sleeping, milk and food as much as possible.

Forming strong bonds with staff is essential to babies’ development and staff are warm and caring, providing support for your child as it is needed. This in turn will give them the confidence to explore, play and learn independently in a safe enriching environment.

We have a permanent soft play area to encourage gross motor skills, and the babies access a wide variety of toys. Staff have ongoing training around speech and language and how best to support babies as they start to acquire language skills. The baby-room have their own designated garden area with an all-weather area incorporated into it.

We keep up to date with the EYFS and advice around safety. We follow the recently introduced safer sleeping guidance. All food is prepared on site following healthy eating recommendations and prepared to prevent the risks of choking. All staff have up to date paediatric first aid training.
